United Utilities retains JLL to sell former HQ for housing

United Utilities is preparing to sell a 12-acre site that includes its former headquarters office building, Dawson House, in Warrington.

The site, on the A57, has outline planning consent for 225 residential units. Dawson House, which is still currently occupied, would be demolished to make way for redevelopment.

Jones Lang LaSalle in Manchester will market the site in the autumn as sole agent. United Utilities is now based at Lingley Mere Business Park, Great Sankey, Warrington. Staff will relocate from Dawson House to Lingley Mere at the end of 2009.
