Uni selects Cassidy + Ashton for framework
Cassidy + Ashton has been reappointed as a preferred bidder to deliver architecture and building surveying services to support Liverpool University in the delivery of its capital investment plan over the next four years.
The Chester architect presented one of 230 expressions of interest to be part of the framework for both contractors and consultants.
The process concluded with the appointment of 42 organisations across all the disciplines and the two contractor value bands.
Services Cassidy + Ashton could be asked to tender for include surveying and construction contracts of up to £5m.
In addition, Aspect Construction, Frodsham, has been appointed to deliver services as a framework Contractor for works between £500k to £5m.
The university anticipates 130 projects being completed over the duration of the framework at an estimated value of £200m.
Steve Dickson, director of facilities management at Liverpool University, said: "The new frameworks will seek to build long term collaborative relationships with all our framework partners, further improving the delivery of the projects on time, within budget and to the desired quality standards."
