Uni opens competition for management school

Lancaster University is looking for a design team for the redevelopment of the Management School at its Bailrigg campus.

The invitation to tender published this week said the company is looking for architects and designers to provide engineering services; urban planning and landscape engineering services; related scientific and technical consulting services; technical testing and analysis services. No figure for the budget was given.

The redevelopment is due to be completed by the end of 2016. This is the latest in a long series of development projects at the university. New and refurbished buildings for chemistry, health, and engineering schools, among others, have been commissioned in recent years.
Expressions of interest should be made by the end of 29 June 2015.
