UKTI to hold China legal briefing in Liverpool

UK Trade & Investment and the China-Britain Business Council are holding a China Legal Update briefing on Thursday 9 October at the University of Liverpool, which will be presented by lawyers from Stephenson Harwood & Lo's China practice.

The Chinese government recently made sweeping changes in foreign investment requirements and laws governing employment, tax, intellectual property and the environment.

SHL was one of the first foreign law firms permitted to practice in China, and currently has offices in Hong Kong, Guangzhou and Shanghai. SHL lawyers will offer practical advice on new law and how this will affect delegate's China business.
