UK Sports Parks plans 30-acre Liverpool complex

Developer UK Sports Parks has applied for planning permission to create a sports and leisure complex near Gateacre and Woolton in Liverpool.

The 30-acre site, formerly occupied by Lea Manor High School, would include an 11-pitch, 5-a-side football centre and club house, a 54,000 sq ft multi use space with units starting at 2,000 sq ft that could be used as a day spa, climbing use or ice rink, a 9-hole golf course, putting green and club house, and a two-acre angling lake.

There could also be a second facility in the North West soon, as the Leeds-based developer is close to securing another site in the region.
