Tyler Grange continues to hire

Fledgling landscape planning consultancy Tyler Grange said it has grown from three to 17 staff in less than three years as it announced its latest new recruit.

The Macclesfield-based firm welcomed the arrival of Dan Willis as graduate landscape consultant. Willis recently completed an MA in Landscape Architecture at Manchester Metropolitan University and will support arboricultural, ecological and landscape project work.

Founding partner Jonathan Berry said: "We started off with just three people in 2010, and have grown in two-and-a-half years to a team of 17 people in two offices [also in Stroud] working on projects from Cheshire to the Falkland Islands. It is a real testament to the hard work of our employees and the business relationships we have established with clients and other North West consultancies."

The firm has been shortlisted for business of the year with turnover up to £1m in the Macclesfield & Wilmslow Business Awards 2012. The final winners will be announced at a black tie gala dinner tonight, Thursday 15 November at De Vere Mottram Hall Cheshire. The guest speaker for the evening is Clive Drinkwater, UKTI's regional director for the North West.
