Two weeks to enter construction awards

The sixth annual North West Construction Awards are open for entries for businesses around the region to showcase and promote their achievements.

NW Construction Awards 2012Organised by Salford University's Centre for Construction Innovation, there are 11 categories, rewarding large and small businesses. A wide variety of disciplines are covered from design and engineering, to contracting and consultancy.

Roy Stewart, director at the Centre for Construction Innovation, said: "These are troubling times for the industry, but that makes it all the more important to celebrate success and instances where the North West is leading the way.

"The categories cover a huge range of projects, organisations and individuals and the entrants can gain excellent profile through winning."

Entries must be submitted by 12 midday on 8 March with the ceremony due to take place on 31 May 2012 at the Palace Hotel in central Manchester.
