Two sign at Hive

Argent has announced two small office lettings at the Hive in Lever Street in Manchester's Northern Quarter.

Media businesses Fatsoma and Spacemen will take a total of 2,000 sq ft between them on the ground and sixth floors.

Fatsoma was founded in 2006 by Paul Stacey, Ben Taylor and Chris Pearson and is a website which enables people to find details of events and buy tickets, and share plans with friends.

Spacemen is a brand experience agency specialising in creating interior, exhibition and event spaces. The company was founded recently by Adrian Taylor and Chris Britton who, after a combined 30 years experience working for leading agencies and global brands have chosen The Hive as their base.

Angela Fielding, project director of Argent, said: "We're delighted to have two new tenants on board. More and more businesses are seeking higher quality offices within the Northern Quarter and The Hive is perfectly placed to meet their requirements."

Paul Stacey at Fatsoma said: "Our business is growing fast, we now have over 600,000 online users and so we needed to upgrade to a fitting office space; we love the location of The Hive which is in the centre of the Northern Quarter and the office space is really high quality. We are also keen to employ the best of Manchester's talent and we're confident that our new office will offer the perfect working environment for them."
