Two office lettings reported at Belvedere building

Orchard Street Investment Management has secured office letting deals at its Belvedere building in Manchester city centre with two financial firms.

Debt consolidation company Arrow Global has taken 6,091 sq ft and investment banking group Altium Capital has taken 3,976 sq ft. Both have agreed a ten-year lease and will occupy the space on the sixth floor.

Quoting rents for the building are £28.50/sq ft. The new tenants join office furniture providers Steelcase and Watson Wyatt in the building.

Alex Russell, an agency surveyor at WHR Property Consultants, letting agents for the Belvedere building, said: "Both enquiries came within a week of each other and were exchanged this month. Floors two and three at the Belvedere building, which offer the largest floor plates at 15,800 sq ft, are currently attracting a lot of interest, so there is a very positive outlook and we hope to secure one or maybe two more lettings before the end of the year."

Jones Lang Lasalle are joint letting agents.
