Turners launches Birkenhead industrial space
Wirral property company Turners Commercial Investments has launched a 21,000 sq ft industrial unit in Russell Road, Birkenhead to the market. Occupied by AM Proos between 2005 and July 2015, the building has been converted for the use of multiple tenants – one unit, of 4,000 sq ft has been taken by a local business.
Landlord Richard Turner said: “This refurbishment has been about private sector investment and confidence in the Rock Ferry area. It’s in a continually improving location and fronting the A41 – one of the busiest roads on the Wirral. When all the units are fully let we expect that many local jobs will be created.”
Turner added that subject to conditions, the units could be rate-free. He added: “We are offering affordable rents, a supportive service and flexible terms – all aimed at helping businesses to grow and invest further in the area. We are confident this redevelopment is exactly what local businesses need.”
Turners has recently completed a similar scheme in Neston, which has been fully let to ten businesses.
