Turner & Townsend outlines NW redundancy position

Cost consultant and project manager Turner & Townsend said there would be two job losses in its Manchester office but none in its Liverpool base.

As revealed earlier this week the company is making 90 people, 7% of its workforce, redundant in the UK, mainly in London.

The company refused to say who would be going from the Manchester office, based in Anchorage Quay, Salford Quays. The Liverpool team moved from the Vanilla Factory in the Ropewalks district of the city centre to a 3,200 sq ft office in Yorkshire House on Chapel Street in May 2008.
