Turner & Townsend hires Gleeds director

Development adviser Turner & Townsend has strengthened its North West team with the appointment of Stuart Sayer from Gleeds as commercial property director.

Sayer, who started in his new post this week, said: "I'm very pleased to have joined Turner & Townsend. Previously I worked on significant commissions, delivering major schemes including most recently Media City UK. This is an exciting new challenge, and I'm looking forward to working with the new team."

Rob Wood, head of cost management in the North West office, said: "Last year we saw revenue increase by nearly 20%. With the market continuing to display signs of recovery, this appointment strengthens our private and commercial property services in the region."

Turner & Townsend employs around 120 people in the North West, with a regional turnover of £12m.
