Turner signs for Yorkshire House as Liverpool office grows

Construction consultant Turner & Townsend is to increase its presence in Liverpool with a move from the Vanilla Factory to a larger office in Yorkshire House.

Turner signed this week to take 3,283 sq ft on the third floor of the 25,000 sq ft Chapel Street building owned by Ethel Austin Property Group, Arrowcroft and Faircroft.

Quoting rent on the building is £14.50/sq ft. Turner has signed for ten years with a five-year break. No-one from the company was available to comment on the move.

Also just signed are sports management agency Stellar Group – Liverpool footballer Peter Crouch is among its clients – which has taken 1,500 sq ft on the ground floor.

The first occupier at the recently refurbished building was Hitec Exports, taking 2,313 sq ft on the seventh floor, the top.

Mason Owen is letting agent. Edgerley Simpson Howe represented Turner & Townsend. Stellar Group was unrepresented.
