Turley hires Brazilian designer to urban team

Independent planning consultancy Turley is continuing its expansion of its Northern team with the appointment of Lia Nardin, an urban designer based in the Manchester office.

Nardin joins the team from Brazil where she gained over 10 years’ experience in urban development and urban planning. She is experienced in managing a variety of urban, landscape, environmental and infrastructure projects and has a joint qualification in architecture and urban design.

Stephen Taylor, head of Turley’s design team in the North, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Lia to our Northern office. Her appointment sees our Urban Design team grow to 14 and strengthens our architectural team and ability to take projects through to detailed design. She joins at an exciting time as we’re engaged in some high profile and interesting projects.”
