Turley Associates moves into 1 New York Street

Planning consultancy Turley Associates has taken a 6,000 sq ft office on the tenth floor of Bruntwood's 1 New York Street in Manchester city centre.

Turley Associates relocated from its second floor office at The Chancery in Spring Gardens in the city centre two weeks ago.

The consultancy has been based in the city for 27 years and worked on schemes such as Peel's Trafford Quays.

Andrew Cowell, head of sales at Bruntwood, said: "We welcome Turley Associates to Bruntwood and are delighted that 1 New York Street meets their business requirements. The building has an on-site customer service team, which combined with 1 New York Street's excellent quality accommodation, stunning views and eco-credentials have continued to generate interest."

Law firm George Davies is relocating 86 staff from four floors, covering 15,000 sq ft in total, at its existing premises at Fountain Court in Fountain Street, to one floor at 9,000 sq ft in New York Street in September.

Designed by Denton Corker Marshall, 1 NewYork Street was completed last September and holds an 'excellent' BRE Environmental Assessment Method rating.

Details of the rental agreement were not disclosed.

DTZ and WHR Property Consultants are retained letting agents on 1 New York Street.
