Turley appoints heritage team from DPP and…

Heritage planner Katy Lightbody has joined Turley Associates in Manchester as part of the national team moving from DPP.

The other three planning consultants in the team on the move are based in London, headed by Roger Mascall, alongside associate director Gareth Jones and senior heritage planner Richard Brookes.

DPP has replaced Lightbody in the 18-strong Manchester office with Andrew Tegg from British Waterways as heritage consultant. A replacement for Mascall is due to be announced by DPP shortly.

Rob Lucas, chief executive of Turley Associates, said: "This is a significant move for the firm and strengthens the support and advice we can offer clients across all of our 10 offices. Roger and his team have an enviable track record and we look forward to working with them."

Lightbody, who becomes associate director at Turleys, has eight years' experience as a specialist heritage planner and has worked on listed building consents in Trafford Quays and the Central Salford development area.
