TUC swaps Bruntwood offices

Office developer Bruntwood has let 3,000 sq ft at Orleans House in Edmund Street, Liverpool, to the Trades Union Congress.

The TUC will move from another Bruntwood building, the Cotton Exchange, located across the road from Orleans House on Old Hall Street, this month. Bruntwood bought the Cotton Exhange last year and owns nearly 1m sq ft of offices in Liverpool.

Colin Forshaw, the firm's head of sales in Liverpool, said "Our business is focused on providing customers with optimum flexibility. Our concentrated ownership within cities such as Liverpool, Manchester and Leeds means we can give customers the option to move seamlessly between over 90 buildings, we have already helped over 30 businesses move around our portfolio this year. It's this flexibility that allows us to develop long term meaningful relationships with customers such as the TUC, who we were able to move within the terms of their lease, demonstrating real flexibility that benefits the customer".
