T&T beefs up infrastructure team

Construction consultancy Turner & Townsend has introduced two new directors into its North West infrastructure operation.

Daimon Keith has returned after three years as Turner & Townsend’s regional director, in which time he launched the firm’s Nairobi office. Chris Tunnicliffe has joined the business from Aecom.

The new look North West infrastructure team, led by Paul Knighting, is currently supporting the delivery of infrastructure schemes including Highways England’s Smart Motorway programme and Network Rail’s Transpennine route upgrade.

As well as being the Network Rail national key account manager. Keith will drive the ‘win work’ strategy on Turner & Townsend’s key infrastructure accounts. Tunnicliffe will lead the project management division within the infrastructure team, having delivered significant infrastructure projects and programmes in the nuclear, utilities, aviation and rail sectors.

Paul Knighting, North West infrastructure lead, said: “Our infrastructure team in the North West is going from strength to strength and off the back of our continued year on year double digit growth it was an ideal opportunity to bring both Daimon and Chris into the business to further our ambition of being the number one independent professional services company in region.

“Both have huge amounts of experience and knowledge having delivered large national programmes and are keen to leverage that experience to bolster our regional capability and provide successful outcomes for our client significant investments.”
