Will Prew has joined the Bolton-based construction company after more than five years with Create Construction Group.
As operations director for Truman Design and Build, Prew is tasked with overseeing all of the company’s projects including the 425-apartment Urban Hub in Preston, 257-bed Molo Hotel in Liverpool and the 18-bed Wildes Group boutique hotel in Chester. Prew began his new role in October.
Prew has more than 35 years of experience in construction. Before joining Truman, he was the business unit director at Create Construction Group, which entered administration in October. He has also worked for William Anelay, where he was involved in projects at Wilton’s Music Hall, Westminster Abbey, and Dunham Massey.
Prew’s experience in complex restoration projects and high-volume developments will be put to use with Truman, according to the company.
“I have always thrived on job satisfaction and ensuring the team around me have the tools to succeed,” Prew said. “Collaborative working with all stakeholders of any project are key to success and this new role is a great opportunity to elevate Truman’s unique, industry-leading ways of working.
“I really admire Truman’s approach to working with clients and colleagues and I can bring my experience and expertise to further galvanise this level of trust to help deliver game-changing projects,” he continued.
