Trebicki signs with Select

Stefan Trebicki has joined Select Property Group from SimpsonHaugh as design architect.

Trebicki will work on projects for Select’s three core brands – the group develops and manages student accommodation under the Vita brand, serviced apartments under Citysuites, and PRS as Affinity Living.

In his time as an associate at SimpsonHaugh, Trebicki was responsible for the management of its early stage business, leading a team of architects whose focus was undertaking bid submissions and concept feasibility studies for large-scale, city centre developments.

In recent years, he has also played a leading role in the design development of the St John’s masterplan in Manchester, and in the refurbishment of the city’s grade two-listed Town Hall Extension.

Trebicki will work between Select’s in-house teams and external consultants, with the initial focus being on the appraisal of new opportunities and developing design solutions to achieve deliverable, appropriate and relevant buildings.

He said: “Select’s approach to property differs from other developers and I was attracted by the company’s ambitions together with their focus on the customer throughout the design and development process.”

Michele Steel, strategic planning director at Select, said: “Having Stefan join the planning and acquisition department is a fantastic coup. He is remarkably experienced and talented and it’s great to have him on board.”
