Travis Perkins Properties has acquired logistics company Kuehne + Nagel's 109,000 sq ft warehouse in Appleton, Warrington, for an undisclosed sum.
The warehouse is situated on an 11-acre site in Lyncastle Road.
Kuehne + Nagel was represented by joint agants CBRE and Clews & Co.
Colin Chivers, of North West-based occupier specialist, CP Property Consultants, represented Travis Perkins throughout the search and acquisition.
Paul Cook, director of CBRE, said: "The sale created a unique opportunity to acquire a distribution facility in one of the North West's prime locations and we were not surprised that the disposal was completed within six months of marketing.
"The continued lack of available stock and demand from occupiers resulted in several parties expressing serious interest before the sale to Travis Perkins, who are relocating one of their Northern distribution facilities".
