DTZ Investors, advised by Savills, has bought an industrial site in Longbridge Road from GPC Media and plans to build a 65,000 sq ft speculative warehouse.
The purchase price was not disclosed.
The cleared development site extends to approximately 3.1-acres. It benefits from a central position within Trafford Park and close proximity to the M60 and M602.
The development will be project managed by Graftongate, and designed by Michael Sparks Associates. The scheme is due for completion in early 2016.
The shed is the second speculative scheme announced in Trafford Park in the last month, with M&G agreeing to fund a 175,000 sq ft warehouse to be developed Marshall CDP at Union Square in February.
