Topland buys Feathers

Topland Group has exchanged contracts to acquire The Feathers Group hotel portfolio, made up of eight properties across the region, for £65m.
Feathers has three hotels in Chester; Queen Hotel, Llyndir Hall Hotel & Spa, and Westminster Hotel, two in Liverpool; Alicia Hotel and Feathers Hotel, alongside Willow Bank Hotel in Manchester, Fir Grove Hotel in Warrington and Leyland Hotel near Preston.
The deal is expected to formally complete later in January.
Feathers was represented by Brabners and Deloitte. Dentons and BDO acted for Topland.
The Feathers portfolio adds to Topland's extensive hotel assets, which includes the Menzies Hotels and Hallmark Hotels.
