Top Shop’s Liverpool One megastore to open in June

After several delays with building work and fit-out, Arcadia today said the new 65,000 sq ft, three-level store for Top Shop, Top Man and Miss Selfridge will open in June.

The store has been created alongside the existing Top Shop/Top Man base of 11,000 sq ft on Church Street and runs down one side of the Keys Court entrance to Grosvenor's scheme.

The store will be largest outside London and forms a third anchor in a triangular pedestrian flow around Liverpool One with Debenhams and John Lewis in the other corners of the retail district.

Grosvenor also confirmed that Thai restaurant Chaopraya/Palm Sugar will open on 4 May. Specialist retailer Wheels of Sport will open in May, opposite John Lewis.

Five small retail kiosks are to be installed in Paradise Street next week. Two have already been let, to sweet shop Zorbas and the Manchester-based newsagent Aleef's.
