ThyssenKrupp takes space at Concord Business Park

Nick Leslau's Max Property Group has completed its first letting at Concord Business Park near Manchester Airport since its purchase of the property in January.

ThyssenKrupp Elevator, a division of ThyssenKrupp, the global integrated materials and technology group, has agreed a new ten year lease on Caravelle Court, which totals 10,814 sq ft.

ThyssenKrupp will pay a rent of £15/sq ft equating to an annual figure of £162,210 on the property that will become the headquarters for the group's international technical services division which provide technical support to ThyssenKrupp engineers worldwide.

James Evans, director at Savills, who represented Max Property Group, said: "ThyssenKrupp is a well established international business that will provide a significant boost to Concord Business Park. The scheme has been extensively refurbished both in terms of the office space and its external landscaped areas, which combined with its strategic location makes it a very strong business destination.

Evans added that a further 30,000 sq ft of grade A refurbished accommodation is currently available at Concord Business Park and the next phase of the development, which comprises the comprehensive refurbishment of Dakota House, will provide 40,000 sq ft of high quality flexible turn key space.

UBS Triton Property Fund sold Concord Business Park to Max Property Group among a portfolio totaling £36.5m. The business park contains 125,000 sq ft in five buildings.

Prestbury Investments manages the Max Property Group portfolio.
