Three more join Liverpool at MIPIM

The number of private sector supporters sponsoring the Liverpool delegation at MIPIM has risen to 14.

Developers Downing, Peel Group and Peel Ports have joined 11 other members involved with the Liverpool stand at Cannes next week.

Liverpool is taking a stand at MIPIM for the first time since 2011 and will be raising awareness of the International Festival for Business 2014, which will be held in Liverpool throughout June and July.

The Liverpool MIPIM delegation also includes Brabners, Bruntwood, Castlewood Property Management, Countryside Properties, Deloitte, Grosvenor, Harcourt Developments, ISG, Liverpool Business Improvement District, Liverpool John Lennon Airport and SUPERPORT freight and logistics hub.

Sean Beech, senior partner at the Liverpool office of Deloitte, who is leading the delegation to MIPIM, said: "The main objective for Liverpool at MIPIM is to promote the city as a world-class business destination and the addition of these three major supporters underlines our ambition."

Liverpool's stand at MIPIM will be situated in the Riviera Hall (R33.14) showcasing the city's offer under the themes of Commerce, Connectivity and Creativity.
