Threadneedle plucks web firm from Space Northwest

Web developer and host, Connect Internet Solutions, has relocated from Liverpool Innovation Park on Edge Lane to New Barratt House on North John Street in the city centre.

The move will be a blow to public-private joint venture Space Northwest, which hopes to establish the innovation park as a major hi-tech hub. Space Northwest is a JV between the North West Development Agency and Ashtenne.

A spokesman for Connect said the company had taken a 7,000 sq ft office in New Barratt House to be closer to the centre: "The move to the city centre will be a positive one for our customers enabling us to offer a web hosting service with even greater resilience, as well as making us more easily accessible for those of you who visit us."

CB Richard Ellis advised Connect Internet solutions. Matthews & Goodman and Hitchcock Wright & Partners acted for Threadneadle.
