The Hut’s shed approved

Omega Warrington has gained reserved matters planning permission to deliver 686,000 sq ft for the online retailer.

The shed will occupy a 41-acre plot with capacity for expansion. The new premises will sit within Zone 7 of Omega South which was granted outline planning consent in May 2014 for 2.1m sq ft of logistics and manufacturing space, a new access road and a 35-acre green space.

This next phase will see an access road built to extend past the new Asda warehouse, down to Omega Boulevard. Skyline Drive will not only serve Omega but will assist in providing traffic relief on surrounding roads.

Omega Warrington is a joint venture between Miller Developments and KUC Properties, working in partnership with landowner the Homes & Communities Agency and supported by Warrington Council and the Cheshire & Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership.
