The Exchange 100% let

Financial services company Isis has taken 1,489 sq ft on the second floor at The Exchange building on New York Street in Manchester, taking the Bruntwood-owned property to full occupancy.

The 32,000 sq ft building was given a Grade A refurbishment when Bruntwood invested £6m redeveloping the former telephone exchange.

The Exchange reopened in February 2008 offering office space over five floors, with a new glazed extension entrance that fronts onto Bruntwood's £1.3m public realm work on New York Street.

Isis joins tenants including specialist recruitment company Air Resources at the property. Isis has offices in London, Birmingham, and Leeds.

Andrew Cowell, head of sales for Manchester, said: "Reaching maximum occupancy at The Exchange highlights how desirable and sought-after the building is. Whilst the regeneration of this area and public realm works reflects Bruntwood's long-term vision to develop and shape our cities."

Details of the rental agreement were not disclosed.
