TFT hires graduate surveyor

Construction consultant, Tuffin Ferraby Taylor, has recruited a graduate building surveyor to its Manchester office.

Paul Magill qualified from Liverpool John Moores University with a degree in building surveying and gained experience at MA Doyle and David Trowler Associates. He is training to become a chartered surveyor while working across business services within TFT. The Manchester office, which opened in July this year, offers building advice including dilapidations, technical due diligence, project monitoring, project management and sustainability consultancy.

Hugo Bradley, head of TFT's Manchester office, said: "The Manchester office opening has proved very successful and the team has been busy working with existing retained clients while also forging links with new ones. Paul's appointment comes just four months after opening and we will be expanding the team further during 2012."

Alan Pemberton, managing partner of TFT, said: "The opening of the Manchester office was a key part of our five-year expansion plan. Many of our top clients have instructions in the North West and having an office in Manchester has enabled us to provide a more efficient service. Hugo and his team are also expanding this client base through their local presence."
