Tender opens for new student beds

Edge Hill University is to spend up to £6.5m on four new accommodation blocks for students on its Ormskirk Campus in west Lancashire.
The new three-storey buildings will contain 192 bedrooms and be constructed next to the all-weather sports pitches and other outside sporting facilities.
The university is also considering a second project of the same size to, subject to satisfactory completion of this first phase.
