Tenants sign up at former TVR factory

Commercial property agent Robert Pinkus & Co has reported several lettings at the former TVR factory in Bispham, Blackpool.

The site has been split up into warehouse, workshop and office premises from 4,000 sq ft up to 168,500 sq ft. The sports car maker collapsed more than two years ago.

Five units have been taken up by local businesses including MJT Cars, Surface & Design and Retro Paint and several more units are under offer.

Mark Harrison at Robert Pinkus & Co said: "The flexibility and range of accommodation at the site is its unique selling point. Interested parties are drawn to the site because of its link with TVR's exclusive brand and reputation and the important part the company has played in Blackpool's manufacturing history over the years. The site is well known throughout the country as the previous home of TVR and the address is easily remembered because of this. People want a little piece of the TVR legacy, however small the workshop.

"Interest so far has been very promising and we are hoping to fill all the units in the next few months."
