Tenant growth at Moorfield’s Towers

John Lewis has doubled its space in Didsbury, taking 23,900 sq ft in addition to its current office of 19,000 sq ft.

John Lewis has committed to a total of 45,000 sq ft at Towers, the business estate owned by a joint venture partnership of Moorfield Group and Property Alliance Group.

British Airways has re-geared its lease on the estate, and has signed for 55,000 sq ft until 2021, taking its total term to 20 years.

British Airways' operation at Towers comprises British Airways Executive Club Centre of Excellence, its ContactBA division and BA Cityflyer head office, collectively employing around 400 staff.

Quoted rents at Towers are £21/sq ft.

The estate is currently undergoing a £3m comprehensive refurbishment programme, comprising a remodeled entrance, refurbished office accommodation, installation of signage and a new piazza. The project is set to complete later this year.

Towers comprises 11 office buildings totaling 350,000 sq ft and additional high-profile tenants include Oracle, Honeywell, CGI, Cisco, Roper Industries and SPX.
