TCS signs two more for Carvers Warehouse
Town Centre Securities has added two more tenants to its line-up at the Carvers Warehouse office building within the £250m Piccadilly Basin development in Manchester.
Arca Architects has taken 2,000 sq ft on a two-year lease at £20/sq ft, with creative agency four23 occupying a further 1,500 sq ft on a five-year lease at £18/sq ft.
The pair join existing Carver's tenants, Marketing Manchester and Martin Stockley Associates.
Co-founder and creative director of four23, Warren Bramley, said "We were lucky enough to do a site visit of Carver's with Martin Stockley when the development was in its formative stage and we fell in love with the place instantly, it's part of the city's heritage and we're glad to be a part of it's future."
Carver's Warehouse is part of approximately 400,000 sq ft of office accommodation in a variety of new and historic buildings at the 12.8-acre site.
The next phase of development throughout is the retail village, which was granted planning at the end of 2007. Incorporating the listed Brownsfield Mill, the retail village will comprise 40,300 sq ft of retail space with 159 apartments above, a 12,165 sq ft waterside restaurant with 58 apartments above and an additional 4,166 sq ft of offices.
