Richard Lewis, director of Town Centre Securities, the developer behind the Piccadilly Basin scheme in Manchester, has sold 50,000 shares in the company.

Lewis pocketed £87,500 for the stake, sold at £1.75 per share. The transaction still leaves him with 302,000 shares in the company.

TCS last week announced a £111m loss for the past year due to a fall in property values.
