Swell UK takes industrial unit in Hyde

Swell UK, a pond, garden and aquarium equipment supplier has signed to a 9,772 sq ft unit at SK14 Industrial Park in Hyde, Tameside.

The company has agreed a five year lease at an average rental of £35,000 a year. Situated within Broadway Industrial Park, SK14 Industrial Park is located approximately two miles north of junction three of the M67 motorway and approximately eight miles east of Manchester city centre.

Rob Taylor, from Knight Frank in Manchester, which acted on behalf of landlords TA Knox Shopfitters, said: "Broadway Industrial Park is one of the main industrial hotspots in the Tameside borough. Swell UK will join existing tenants, including children's play centre, Slide and Seek Ltd and Calyx."

Waltons is joint agent on the scheme.
