Sutton Kersh auctions return

Sutton Kersh will offer 71 properties at its auction on Thursday 6 September at the Liverpool city centre Marriott Hotel.

Amongst the lots on offer will be a commercial investment on Allerton Road currently trading as Allerton Bar & Restaurant. The property has an annual rental income of £30,000 and is offered with a guide price of £325,000.

A flat conversion opportunity on Princes Road near Princes Park in Toxteth is also up for grabs and carries a guide price of £90,000. The vacant three-storey building with gardens comprises four bedrooms and benefits from planning permission for conversion into four self-contained flats with two car parking spaces.

The auctioneer sold 278 lots in the first half of the year, raising £19m in four auctions.

Cathy Holt, auction manager, said: "Investors have returned in abundance this year and we have also seen a rise in the number of people buying at auction for owner occupier purposes. Competitive bidding in the auction room is key to a real recovery in values and we should take confidence from the results achieved so far this year."
