Sutton Kersh auction catalogue out

Sutton Kersh will offer 113 lots at its next auction in Liverpool on 4 June, including a three-storey freehold property off Picton High Street and a mixed-use investment in Liverpool city centre.

The three-storey semi-detached freehold property in South Drive, off Picton High Street, was previously used as a day centre. Sutton Kersh said it may suit conversion into a family home, subject to planning, and is being offered at a guide price of £200,000 to £220,000.

A part-let mixed use investment in Sankey Street in the centre of Liverpool which currently produces annual rental income of over £106,000 has a guide price of £1.35m to £1.5m.

The property, which is adjacent to China Town and The Blackie Cultural Centre, comprises 14 residential apartments and three retail units and could generate £161,120 when fully let, a potential gross yield of 12%.

Two former well known pubs are also being offered, with The Knotty Ash on East Prescot Road at a guide price of £275,000, and The Melrose Abbey in Westminster Road at a guide of £60,000 plus.

Other highlights include a former bingo hall and cinema on Park Road in Liverpool which currently benefits from planning permission to use as a Tool Hire Shop and is guided at £70,000 plus.

Cathy Holt, auction manager, said: "We have attracted another large and varied catalogue with all categories of stock well represented and at guide prices to suit all budgets, starting from nil reserve.

"At our last auction we sold 93% of the 120 lots offered, generating proceeds of over £6.9 million and we look forward to delivering another strong set of results on behalf of our customers."

The sale takes place at the Liverpool City Centre Marriott Hotel, starting at 12 noon.
