Survey Solutions snaps up North West practice

The Ipswich-headquartered engineering surveyor has acquired Wilmslow-based Survey Systems as part of a growth strategy. 

Survey Solutions now has nine UK offices following the deal, including sites in Glasgow and Nottingham. 

The acquisition of Survey Systems, which operates out of Willow Bank House in Wilmslow and employs around 40 staff, marks Survey Solutions’ first North West outpost.  

Survey Solutions, founded in 1998 by chief executive James Cooper, also recently completed the acquisition of Bedfordshire-based practice Kempston Surveys.

The acquisitions have increased the company’s headcount to around 160.
