Styles & Wood replaces chief executive
Fit out firm Styles & Wood Group has announced Tony Lenehan has been appointed as the new chief executive, following Ivan McKeever's intention to step down at the end of the year.
Styles & Wood said McKeever led the successful refinancing of the business in 2009 and its' expected return to profitability in 2010.
Fifty one year old Lenehan joins Styles & Wood from Bovis Lend Lease, where he was responsible for the company's construction business interests in the north of England and nationally for property related services in the Defence sector with annual revenues in excess of £500m.
He was previously with Carillion where he held the positions of managing director for the building division and latterly the integrated property solutions business.
McKeever said: "Following eight enjoyable years and having delivered a turnaround at Styles & Wood, I have decided to step down as chief executive at the end of the year to pursue personal business interests. I leave the Group in good shape to prosper from this point and wish my successor and indeed all the team at Styles & Wood well."
Styles & Wood Group has an office in Altrincham and provided fit out and refurbishment services for the Primark in Chester, as well as the Manchester studio of architects BDP and the Royal Bank of Scotland building in Spinningfields, Manchester.
Lenehan will take up the post on 1 January 2011.
