Styles & Wood appointed to proptech framework

The property services group is looking for opportunities for its proprietary estates and risk management technology in the public sector after being appointed to the government’s G-Cloud 9 framework.

The framework is an agreement between the government and cloud services suppliers. The appointment makes Styles & Wood’s intelligent estates management (IEM) software, iSite, and its Arctick governance, compliance and risk (GRC) platform accessible to the public sector.

The Sale-based firm’s iSite software collates data on users’ new build, refurbishment, and maintenance and facilities management activity to give a single view of property estates to help seek efficiencies and plan programmes.

Arctick GRC is an incident and risk management system that enables clients to identify and monitor operational risk. Developed with long-term Styles & Wood client Nationwide, it helps organisations to better manage low-level incidents across their businesses, giving insight into wider trends that might become bigger risk challenges.

Both systems could be valuable to government departments and public bodies as they seek to rationalise and create efficiencies, Styles & Wood said.

Director Martin Ward said: “Our appointment to G-Cloud 9 will allow the public sector to access our full range of experience and knowledge in creating services to monitor and reduce sources of potential cost. It will build on the successes we’ve had in delivering the systems across blue chip private sector clients.”
