Stuart Canvas moves to bigger site
The manufacturer of sports, commercial and industrial covers has taken 25,000 sq ft in Hardwick Grange, Warrington.
Stuart Canvas has over 30 years experience in manufacturing PVC and cotton tarpaulins and supplies covers to the Wimbledon Tennis Championships, Premier League Football Clubs, Lords Cricket Ground and Haydock Race Course amongst others.
Stuart Canvas said the new unit property offers a 50% increase on its previous site in Warrington.
Ed Stoddart, chief executive of Stuart Canvas, said: "We've had a strong year and have grown to such an extent that we urgently needed more space. This move, along with our investment in equipment, marks a significant milestone for the company and gives us an ideal platform to further develop our capabilities and achieve even greater improvements in efficiency."
The company has also made an additional £100,000 investment in new manufacturing equipment to help increase the products and services it provides its customer.
