The planning advisory has hired Connor Wigley as an assistant planning consultant as it continues to grow the business.
Wigley joins Stockport-based Broadgrove Planning & Development from Gladman, based in Congleton, a planning consultancy where he spent two years working on strategic land issues.
He joined Gladman as a graduate planner in early 2019.
In his new role at Broadgrove, Wigley will support directors Andy McMullan and Richard Walters in delivering the company’s growth ambitions across the North West. Broadgrove said it expects to double turnover year-on-year during this financial year, despite the current challenging market conditions.
McMullan said: “Since establishing Broadgrove in 2018, we have experienced a sustained pattern of growth, and seen large numbers of referrals based on our director-led, commercial approach to planning advice.
“Connor’s appointment allows us to maintain our level of service.”
McMullan added: “Despite the well-documented market difficulties of the last six months we are fortunate to have a strong client base and healthy pipeline of instructions.
“We will continue to seek out the best talent to support our growth strategy and provide the high quality of service our clients expect.”
Broadgrove has clients from across the residential, commercial, leisure and energy sectors, including Fusion Students, Warrington Housing Association, MLN (Land & Properties), and North Wales Housing Association.
