Stockport shopping centre placed into administration

Stockport's Merseyway shopping centre has been placed into receivership by the lending bank.

The shopping centre is owned by Stockport Holdings, a subsidiary of property investor Simon Halabi.

GVA Grimley was appointed Law of Property Act receiver on 6 February this year by lender Bradford & Bingley.
