Stockport appoints three to framework

Stockport Council has awarded three firms with highways maintenance work within the borough.
The planned work will be delivered with and or on behalf of Solutions SK, a wholly owned company of Stockport Council.
The three firms selected include:
- Utility Landscapes, based in Cadishead in Salford, Greater Manchester
- Bramhall Surfacing, based in Poynton, Stockport
- Civil engineers J Cooney, based in Rochdale
The scoring criteria for the contract awards were weighted 80% on price, 10% on quality and 10% processes.
The value of the contracts was not disclosed.
