Stockley signs up to MIPIM partnership

The Manchester-based independent consulting engineers and designers is the latest company to sign to the Manchester at MIPIM Partnership.

Stockley has signed up as an associate partner, paying £5,500, taking the total number of companies representing the city at MIPIM to 47 so far; an increase of nine compared to last year's partnership.

Marketing Manchester, the agency charged with promoting the city on a national and international stage, is co-ordinating the activity of the Manchester at MIPIM Partnership and said more companies can still sign up.

Andrew Stokes, chief executive of Marketing Manchester, said: "We're delighted that Stockley has signed-up to attend MIPIM as part of the Manchester Partnership. They're a great addition to the 47-strong line-up of developers, architects, engineers and construction companies that will represent the city at the world's most influential real estate event and shows how seriously Manchester's property industry regards the MIPIM event."

Stockley, which rebranded in November, was established in 1997 and has worked on projects in Manchester including Urbis, No 1 Deansgate, Timber Wharf, Chips and Ancoats Public Realm.

The company joins companies and organisations such as 5plus Architects, Addleshaw Goddard, AECOM, Allied London, Ask, EllisWilliams Architects, GMPTE, Habitat Contracts, and Leach Rhodes Walker Architects, as an associate partner.

Lead sponsors, paying £20,000 each, an increase of £5,000 on 2010, includes Argent, the Co-operative Estates, Manchester Airport Developments, MediaCo and MIDAS.

The second level of sponsorship is partner, costing £9,500, which includes Manchester City Council, Laing O'Rourke, Arup and Bruntwood.

The MIPIM international property trade show takes place in Cannes, southern France, from 8 to 11 March this year.
