Stewart Milne targets completion growth

Stewart Milne Homes said its volume of new home completions across the region doubled in the past 12 months, from 134 to 268 homes with a combined sales value of more than £60m.

The housebuilder is headquartered in Manchester.

Stewart Milne plans to grow the North West division to 500 units over the next three years, with 300 units targeted in the next financial year.

There are plans for five new developments over the next 12 months, resulting in the construction of 447 new homes.

North West managing director for Stewart Milne Homes, Paul Challinor, said: “The North West is a key growth area for the company and we will continue to invest heavily in the region to cement these impressive sales figures.

“The figures reflect an increased market demand for our quality homes, and suggest that despite slowing nationally, the market is continuing to benefit from resilient consumer confidence.

“We have a strong product underpinned by quality, craftsmanship and very high design specifications – all of which have helped us to gain traction in the market and provide a strong platform for growth.

“Over the next 12 months we will work to increase our volume output through the acquisition of larger sites in prime residential locations. We will also drive forward our core Group values which focus on quality homes and a customer centric approach to building and selling homes.”
