Standguide expands at Simms Cross

Training and recruitment provider Standguide has moved into a bigger office at Northern Trust's Simms Cross development in Widnes town centre, fronting Widnes Road close to its junction with Gerrard Street.

Standguide is moving from a temporary space in suite A3 of Grenfell House to the larger 1,800 sq ft suite B3.

The Simms Cross development is a two storey mixed use development completed in late 2005 and comprises 9 retail units at ground floor and 7,307 sq ft of offices. The offices are known as Grenfell House.

Chorlton-based Standguide was established in 1990 and has training centres throughout Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Cheshire.

John Marrow, regional property manager at Whittle Jones, joint managing agents on the scheme, said: "Whittle Jones were able to provide temporary accommodation for Standguide, until a suitable sized suite was created to meet the company's requirements."

In addition, Creative Media Awareness has moved into suite A3 covering 675 sq ft.

Dixon Webb is joint agent for Simms Cross. Details of the rental agreement were not disclosed.
