Staff changes at BE Group

Two new members of staff have joined the BE Group in Warrington as it undergoes a management restructure prompted by the retirement of a director.

Simon Roddam has joined the property consultancy from DTZ Manchester to head the agency team.

Samia Syeda has joined the planning and regeneration team from Rossendale Council.

Other changes to the company see Peter Crompton stepping down as a director as he moves from a full-time to part-time consultancy role.

Fellow director Vince Sandwell is taking over as managing director of the 10-strong business.

He said: "Although the large agency organisations continue to dominate the market, we believe with a combined experience of 60 years in the North West and Warrington property markets, our team will provide an attractive niche offering.

"With Peter retiring as a director, it is essential for our planning and regeneration clients that we have continuity so we are delighted that he will continue on a part time consultancy basis and I am excited about working more closely with Peter over the coming months."

BE Group's clients include MEPC Birchwood Park, British Steel Pension Fund, Royal London Asset Management, Bruntwood , Threadneedle and the Co-op.
