St Modwen wins Daresbury contract

St Modwen Properties has been chosen to create a £25m development at Daresbury Science and Innovation Campus in Cheshire.
Plans for the 9-acre site include up to 200,000 sq ft of work and teaching accommodation, with the first phase of the development featuring Vanguard House, a building housing 35,000 sq ft of units ranging between 1,000 and 7,000 sq ft.
Construction is due to start this summer, subject to planning, and the building will be completed in 2009.
Daresbury SIC is made up of the Liverpool, Lancaster and Manchester Universities and Halton Borough Council.
